Help a Student Go to College

The non-profit which operates this radio station has been offering scholarships to help high school students go to college for many years now.  Our founder provided help for untold numbers of students in the churches he served, even waiters he met in restaurants.  He believed that hard working students with less than perfect grades were often overlooked.  So that's who we try to help.  We continue the scholarship work that Rev. L. C. Orrick began.  Currently, we accept applications for a $1,000 scholarship from high school students in Bellville, Sealy, Hempstead, and Brookshire to be applied to their college expenses for the following Fall.  Depending on the number of successful applications and the funds we have available, most years we have only been able to help up to five students.  What if we could help a hundred... with your help?  If you would like to help us give more students a hand, please take the opportunity to make a donation below.
